Progressively Intelligent Building Envelope
Mountain odern architecture integrated with an energy-efficient building design and construction keep the energy needed for heating, cooling, lighting and living with minimal energy loss. These design decisions are focused on real-world solutions like triple pane windows, energy-efficient insulation systems and structural thermal breaks, to name a few.
100% Electric Building
From its inception, The Amble was designed to be a 100% electric building. This improves our operating carbon footprint in lockstep with the greening of our electrical grid. In addition, The Amble will have the option to participate in our local electric co-op Green Choice program, which will offset its carbon footprint through this opt-in green energy program.
Smart Building Systems
The building’s mechanical system is designed not only to be 100% electric but also to capture, retain and reuse rejected energy from the building systems. Through our progressive mechanical design, we are able to use the buildings’ rejected energy to supplement the domestic hot water and pool/spa heating systems. This setup cuts down on the amount of energy the building needs to operate and will allow it to operate with significantly lower energy usage than traditional building systems.
